Touch up paint

I was wanting to buy some touch up paint for my car and do a few little chips but I want it to look pretty decent so I went to www.paintscratch.com and looked at my color for a ford mustang 99 and my color code is E8 and it came up to be a tri-coat color which seems weird but it looks like I need to buy 2 diff. bottles of color but I dont really know. I guess I would used some 1000 and 2000 grit sand paper to level out the paint after it dries than use some polish on top to fill the little scratches or do I need a little bottle of clearcoat too?
