If there are scratches or very minor flaws on a vehicle putting just a wax or polish over it by hand will only just hide the problem correct? Once the wax or whatever product you`re using wears off, you would see the scratch or flaw again? The only way to really remove swirls or flaws is to buff it out with a pc or rotary? Thanks people.

depending how deep the scratch is, you can probably go over it with DACPx2 and work your way up to final polishing and glaze. It should somewhat be LESS noticeable ...this is all worked by a PC

Depending on a) how hard/soft the paint is, and b) how bad the marring is, you may be able to fix it by hand (really/permanently fix it) if you work it long enough. Generally, anything the PC does can be done by hand, but the rotary can do stuff that`s otherwise impossible.
