Mine seem to be getting on the abrasive side, including the autopia MF towel. Ive only washed them by hand, no soap, air dry.

Thanks

Machine wash (gentle/delicate cycle) with liquid detergent in warm water. I double rinse with white distilled vinegar (1/2 cup) added to second rinse. Works wonders for maintaining softness.

Machine dry lowest temp setting above air bluff. Soft as the if they were brand new. :wavey

Hi TOGWT,

Can you point me toward the Sonus product you are using. Always looking to improve my systems and regimens.

TIA:wavey

The Sonus stuff looks to be the same as Micro-Restore. I think it`s called Dur Wunder Wasche. I love that name. :)

Your washing method isn`t cleaning them at all so you are getting wax, dirt, etc. building up. You should wash them in the machine using liquid detergent and follow the towel makers recommendations as to water temperature. The hotter the towel can take it the better. Don`t use fabric softeners but use a tablespoon of white vinegar per towel in the final rinse.

Yiu may need to wash yours more than once if you have too much buildup.
