If you live in the SoCal area, and would like to help be a part of the team that gives the below Mercedes-Benz 450 SL an Extreme Makeover, then be at Meguiar’s Garage Thursday, July 15th starting at 5:00pm!

The above car has sat out in the SoCal sun for over a year and since that time, as you can see by the areas of the finish that have turned white, the finish has greatly deteriorated.

I voted for the rotary usage...I wanna see what ya can do :D

I`m going to divide the car into four to 6 sections and perform 4-6 different procedures. Then, after evaluating the results, doing my best to document the results with my camera, I`m going to redo the entire car probably with the PC, but possibly the rotary so that the owner will have a car whose finish has a uniform look.



This mean I might as well work through the night and then I can take some after picture in the daylight before I go home.



Again, if anyone from Autopia is interested, feel welcome to stop by. The fun starts at 5:00pm and continues till late.
