Is there anything else I need to buy from them in order to get started? I plan on buying CMA or Lake Country pads. Sorry for the repeat post but I`ve been searching for hours with no definitive answer. Oh yeah... If I do buy the kit from Coastal what size pads should i be purchasing?

No you get everything with the PC Kit. I`ve been using the CMA VC Pads(aka LC pads) with good results. I use the 6.5" pads wit the backplate from CT.

a week ago I bought a PC from coastaltool and when I opened the box, the PC was scuffed and appeared used, also a few pages from the instruction booklet were bent... kinda weird. They assured me it was new and even offered to replace it but since it worked I figured it wasnt worth the hassle and wait.

I recommend buying pads and supplies from www.autogeek.net or www.autopia-carcare.com

Robertotrevino,

I purchased my PC from Coastal Tool as well. I had it shipped next-day air. I opened the brown box it arrived in and saw that the manufacturer`s box was in rough shape. I opened that box and inspected the PC. It had some scuffs and scrapes on it. I haven`t spoken with Coastal Tool about it but I`m beginning to wonder if they are selling re-furbished units as "new".

When I received my PC it was is "NEW" condition. Everything was perfect. I have no doubt that I was the first person to take it out of the box and use it.
