I just recently clayed my car in order to get it ready for a fresh coat of Zaino. After claying my hood I noticed that it seems as though the paint has water spots on it. What do you recommend I do in order to remove this?

You could try some vinegar first and if that doesn`t do it then you`ll have to step up to some kind of polish.

Try clay again in a small location. My wife`s Taurus had water spots all over it after a trip to the beach. We got all of the spots off with blackfire clay.

What`s the year/make/model of your car, RP-350Z? Do you really think the water spots only appeared after your claying? or do you have a hunch they were there before?

A couple of times, I`ve gotten lazy about drying off the car in a timely fashion. But then I`d clay and polish, and voila -- waterspots gone. Or, just use a paint cleaner to get rid of them. But if you do those things, be sure to really clean the paint as Zaino recommends, before slathering-on the Z2 or Z5.
