Please take a look at the spots on the plastic cowling on my 01 Cobra. Don`t know where they came from and so far have been unsuccessful in getting them black again. I have tried a good old fashioned cleaning and Back to Black with no success. It seems as if something has bleached the dye out. Any ideas on how I can return the spots to black?:nixweiss

looks like a pine sap spot to me. if that`s what it was, use your sap remover to get the residue out of the textured plastic then coat with trim protectant. hope this helps.

Stoners Tarminator, it is good tar and sap remover

Also, Mother`s Back to Black is not really one of the better trim detailers. Although it is a decent cleaner, it does not seem to blacken or protect nearly as well as others. I would recommend Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer or their #38 Trim & Tire gel.

Try black again or Stoners trim shine
