Hi guys from across the pond in the uk,

I`m looking for a product to take some of the swirling and light scratches from my paintwork.

I`ve recently had half of the car resprayed, and want to get the rest of it up to scratch, before putting Klasse AIO and SG.

I was thinking about the menzerna polishes, but all my work will be by hand, and I understand it may not get at those that well if done by hand, as I don`t have a pc etc.

Can you recommend a polish etc that will do the job.

Car colour is dark blue.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Paul

Try a search. Meguiar`s Swirl Free Polish is supposed to work decently by hand. You aren`t going to get too much out by hand.

By hand it may be easiest for you to use a product such as Meg`s MPPC or even try Meg`s ScratchX. MPPC is a great cleaner to get your paint prepped.

It may depend what products you have available to you though, and I highly suggest getting at least two products, one mild (like a swirl remover) and one moderately strong (like DACP, fine cut products, etc.). That way you are equipped to deal with your swirls if you find they`re worse than you thought. Often polishing by hand with something as mild as a swirl remover can be disappointingly ineffective, so be prepared!

Good luck.
