Hi all

I am going to go and shop for a buffer/polisher to use on my car this weekend. I know you guys all use the PC line, but I want to choose something that I can buy locally so that I don`t have to pay for shipping/import/etc to Canada.

So my question is, when I am looking at a buffer in the store - what should I be looking for? What kind of features? I use the Mothers 3 Step system, so I am going to be looking for something I can use for all 3 steps. I`m not so much looking for a certain product recommendation as I am a list of features to shop for - since I don`t know what products I will find in local stores.

Any advice is appreciated!

WAIIIIIT....dont buy anything just yet

believe it or not but if you go on the canadian tire webiste and search for the PC (should be under sanders section) u can find which store has them..

when u actually make it to the store though its not in the auto care section. it will be in the body fillers and paint section.

its pricey though.... about $240porter cable (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=253437430 2194951&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395348027&bmUID=1087524283086&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442458991&assortment=primary)

As far as products go u can get Meg`s professional lineup or 3M and other various pro products from this place....im sure theres probably the equivalent closer by in Sauga. i think its Cmax or something...auto paint and body supply stores ussually car good stuff

dura chemical (http://yellowpages.ca/searchBusiness.do?what=dura+chemical&srchtype=category&city=stoney+creek&sType=simpleSearch&action=homeSearch&step=getDirectory&Se=smp&x=63&y=7)

Not a Problem... :xyxthumbs

I was excited myself when i first realized you can get a PC at ur local CT.:bounce

even though it seems like a lot of money it is definately worth it and If you think about it. buying on line for $119 USD by the time u add shipping costs(~30), broker fee(~30), duty(~7%), taxes(15%) and consider the exchange rate(~1.35) its proabbaly no different if not worse in price(~280)
