i detailed my girls car in april with a crappy buffer megs # 9 and nxt. no clay either. the poor car has not seen a wash since then ( i could kill my girl, but she is super busy ) anyways. i detailed it again today and did it right, see my other post ( 6 hours later )
so i was claying the car and the paint was not too bad, just the trunk, roof, and hood. for the most part the car was smooth as i was claying. this surprised me since nxt has the reputation for bad durability. 2 months or so with no washing, horrible rain storms, parking under trees and full of sap. water just sits on the paint.
what is the conclusion here about nxt ?? does it need to be washed 10-12 times and then it is gone ?? can a car be neglected like this and it will last longer ?? you make a decision. just thought i would post my experience
