Well I ordered some VM a while back and have been using it on everything possible with awesome results. I`ve used it after some pretty harsh polishes and it brought back a perfect shine and a ready to wax surface. I was getting ready for a week or two ago and decided on something kinda looney to most Autopians. Something blatantly wrong haha....but it works so far. I dressed up my car with VM and then just slapped a coat of SG on top of it. It applied like normal. Usually when I feel my paint after VM or SG they both have a clean sterile feel to them with mediocre slickness. To my surprise tho...just 15 minutes ago I felt my car and it was slick. It was way slicker than either of the two products by themselves. The look is almost like VM but still crisp and reflective. It`s hard to compare, but anyways it looks nice. I haven`t taken the car anywhere except to that car show and just quick detailed it with Meguiar`s Final Detail. I dunno i`m just rambling but i found it interesting.......

I have the same tires on my Jetta VR6! 225/45 Z 17"

18,000 miles and going strong. Awesome ride for the money. I paid like $85 a tire.

Nice detail too! Like the others, I would have never thought of that combo!

Thanks guys....

Spilchy I think i have 15000 miles on mine....for some reason my front ones wear faster than my rear ones(prolly has something to do with the suspension setup I have) They are alright. They don`t have quite enough grip for me, but I guess they are pretty good for All-Season Tires......I`m prolly going for Nitto NeoGen tires next time. I just hope i can get another 10000 miles out of these tires.

I rotate every 6k miles.

I get snow so I needed an All Season.

So for the money coupled with snow traction, they get a big :up.

They are sticky enough for me and doing a 110mph is no problem.

However, they ain`t nuthin` like my former Michelin Pilot Sports. Man oh man those puppies were like glue. But at $220 a tire, the wallet takes first priority :( :) Not too shabby for a stock tire on my VW when I first got it ;)

They are good tires....I think I`m gonna put some nice tires on my Stock wheels and go back to those.....then later i`ll buy new wheels and tires again....depending on if I get into Auto-X much....I dunno yet...seems like it`d be fun and a good experience....

I didn`t want to spend the $$$ for TOYO T1S so I bought some TOYO PROXES FZ4s (just two for the front) $103.00 each! 225/40/18s

BTW, nice looking paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
