Heres some of my shots from last Friday, NXT topped w S100, my overall first imp of NXT is a good one  applied over entire car, then maybe waited for about 5+mins, buffed entire car, this product is very easy to buff off, no residue, buffs off basically simular to S100/PPG, i then topped w a quick coat of S100, love the shine! i still love S100 though, wipe on wipe off, no waiting to haze period, and no worries about mouldings ect, whereas the ntx you have to be extra carefull about that. heres some shots, next up ill try nxt w PPG ;)

When I read that you buffed it off in 5 minutes, I was think that maybe that was not enough time. I let my NXT sit for about 30 minutes before buffing but I think 15 minutes would be the minimum.

Nice Work !

I waited about 15 minutes with no problems. I read on the bottle that you have to be careful about the trim after the fact.

nice job.

i just checked my bottle of nxt it is recommended to allow 10-15 minutes for it to cure. mike phillips also recommends applying a second coat 12 hours after the first one. if that isn`t possible, after 1 hour.

yeah i believe the second coat will catch any missing parts and give it some more shine. something about the first coat needing to cure first i think.

Hey 4DR Turbo,

Did you buy the S100 locally, if so, can you tell me where?

Thanks

Nice! :up

As much heat as NXT has taken by some for its durability (or lack of), there has not been much carping about its appearance.

I haven`t tried NXT with S100 yet, just #16. I may have to bust out the S100 next time I top NXT.

Done, for my next application, ill let it haze for 15Min`s, and apply a second coat, maybe 1hr later, not sure ill be able to let it sit for 24hrs?, and becks RE where to get S100, Bike dealers, in Ottawa, you can buy it from Harley Davidson dealers, or even Ott good time center, call first to make sure, last time i was at OGTC they had 3 jars on the shelf, $28/jar, as for PPG i had to order it from CMA $35

Oh ya, also for my next application, think ill use some painters tape for the mouldings ect, it would make the application go smoother ect
