When doing a three step combo, e.g. #80 + intermediate product + LSP, does the middle step make much of a difference?
In other words would you see a difference in any of these 3 combos:
#80, #81, LSP
#80, VM, LSP
or, #80, PwC, LSP

You can go #80 and lsp if you want since it breaks down real well. #80/NXT is a very nice combo and you can top it with #16 or another carnauba. I have used #80/VM/EX-P with excellent results.

I`ve gotten great results using #80 (PC/white pad) and then UPP. If you`re using a PC the finish from #80 alone should come out haze-free. I used #80 by hand with a foam applicator the first time and got some "holographic" marring. I was told that it didn`t break down enough, and to use a terry cloth applicator by hand. Absolutely zero problems with the PC though.

Thanks, Scottwax
Guess what I was "fishing" for was an alternative to VM. I like VM very much, but can purchase #81 or PwC in bulk.
