Hi All,

Here`s the 2000 white Corolla I had detailed today. The Corolla was really in bad shape. Forget about the swirls, this Corolla was chalky by touch and no gloss what so ever. The results after 7 hours is below. First, here are the steps I took to achieve the Autopia look. :)

1. Car Wash with NXT Car Shampoo.

2. Clayed with ClearKote Clay with Poorboy`s Spray & Wipe

3. Car Wash with NXT Car Shampoo.

4. Removed heavy oxidation with Makita 9227 rotary w/ 8 1/2" white LC CE pad using DACP. The Makita is the bomb! :xyxthumbs It really does save a lot of time.

5. Removed heavy oxidation with PC 7336 w/ 6 1/2" yellow LC pad with DACP for those hard to reach areas where the rotary would not reach.

6. Used PC 7336 w/ 6 1/2" white LC pad with Poorboy`s SSR1 to bring back gloss.

7. Applied 1x AIO by hand.

8. Applied 1x SG by hand.

9. Top it off with Natty`s Paste Wax by hand.

10. Dressed the tires with Poorboy`s BNB and buffed off with yellow foam applicator pad

11. Vacuum interior with Rigid Wet/Dry vac.

12. Cleaned and dressed interior with Poorboy`s Natural Look

Then I called it a day. Damn, I`m exhausted. :D

I could only get the after pics. Because when I first started, it was slightly overcast so the pics wouldn`t have come out the way I wanted.

Looks great. How`s the learning curve on the new Makita? Thinking about getting one for myself.

Wow :bow

The results are worth the effort! I just did a RX300 on Sunday with heavy waterspotting and red dirt (owner lives in Kaaawa and commutes to Ko Olina daily). Thought I had it tough.....

Almost as bad as the guy whose 2002 PT Cruiser I detailed a couple of months ago. Each chrome rim took me 45 minutes to an hour to polish because of the baked on brake dust! I asked him when he last washed his car and he replied, "Two weeks.....after I bought it." I couldn`t find a muscle that didn`t ache the next day.

But they were very happy with their vehicles so the effort was entirely worth it.

Great job. And yes, you do have an awesome 4Runner!
