I have these two products and was wondering how they work and how they compare to DACP? I was thinking of getting some DACP but if Fine Cut or Medium Cut do basically the same thing it would save me some money. So does anyone know how they compare to each other?

Thanks

The Body Shop Professional series of polishes are better suited for modern clearcoat paints while the "old skool" Fine Cut and Med Cut are suited for single stage enamels and lacquers and the like.

In my experience with all these products, the Med Cut and Fine Cut seem to maintain their abrasiveness during machine use. The BSP products seem to break down quicker by machine and also seem better suited to hand polishing.

IMNSHO, I see no need to use the older polishes on modern paint when you have the BSP line available.

Here`s an interesting thread:

I`ve used #2 FCC with good luck on clear coats before. I like it, but I`m always trying new stuff. I bought some 3M PI fine cut compound and will try that on my next project.
