Toyota white?

I just bought a white Toyota Tacoma D-cab, and was wondering if it is clearcoated or a single stage paint. I have heard that some whites are SS. Either way what would you recommend to care for my white paint.



I have been impressed with the depth of knowledge here, I just thought I knew a thing or two about auto detailing.

Toyota has no clear coat on White and Black.

might be different on trucks but there is definately clear coat on white 03 camry

I thought it`s unheard of new cars not having a clearcoat

Take a polish or cleaner wax on an applicator pad, if you get white paint off, then its single stage, if there is no color transfer, then it is clearcoated.
