Greetings everyone,

I am going to put stongard on my headlights, corner turns, fogs and on a painted area of the forward part of rear wheel well.

My question is this....I just AIO, SG and topcoated with a layer of carnuba this past weekend. I applied the AIO to the light lenses. What do I need to do to get these surfaces ready for the stongard? What will remove AIO. I was thinking of wiping the lenses down with some rubbing alcohol. Would this remove the AIO? Any better ideas.

Also, any tips for applying the stongard?

Thanks in advance,

Todd

Rubbing alcohol or prepsol will work. Just what is stonguard?

Isn`t stonguard that film stuff that protectes your car from stone chips? Its good stuff, just that it isn`t totally clear. Oh well.

Ya rubbing alchohol will work.

BTW welcome!

Yeah, Stongard is the clear film that protects from chips and such. Applied to glass lenses it will protect from breakage from road debris, stones, etc.

I`ve gone through 2 headlight lenses and 2 foglamps so it`s time for preventative measure.

Thanks again for the replies.
