Alright when you are polishing your cars do you mainly spot polish with somethin like DACP or any aggressive compounds or polishes, then go over the whole car with SFP or SMR? I`m just tryin to cut my polishing steps and time down. Is it neccessary to do a whole car with DACP, then a SMR depending on condition? Thanks

I like to do the whole car if possible. I don`t want one panel to look that much more polished than another part.

With abrasives, I only use them where needed and use a mild polish for the rest.

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

I agree with andriver, why use an aggressive polish unless it necessary, you (or the client) only have a thin

(2-3Mils 0.002-0.003â€) clear coat.

Cardinal Rule:

Always use the least aggressive product first, evaluate the surface, then only if necessary, ‘step-up’ to a more abrasive products.

~Hope this helps~
