My red CRV was very pinkish looking and dull when I bought it so I got out the 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound and SMR and it is now bright red again and perfect. Except for the rear hatch handle and spare tire mount, which don`t lend themselves at all to rubbing compound due to some lettering on the handle and odd shape of the spare time mount. I`m wondering if any of the "paint cleansing" lotions, etc might do the trick on these hard to get to places. Any suggestions?
