Just thought I`ll let all the fellow Canadians out there that its finally online...much to my surprise! (hmm, there`s #16 still listed :bounce) I must say though I`m not too impressed by their prices especially the shipping rates.

The prices are a joke. $408.00 CDN for thier Porter Cable Polisher :rofl I paid half that in CDN dollars to purchase my 7336 in Canada and no shipping. You would have to be an idiot to order from that site.

Unfortunately, they might be my last option to get #16...if I could get them to lower their shipping down!

Like I said in other posts, order it from NAPA or Auto Parts Central. Give them the part #, wait a day to a week, and you`ve got one. No extra shipping (although NAPA said they would have to order it by the case, not individually).

Is there an Auto Parts Central in Toronto, Ontario?

I just looked at that sight .. Useless ... they don`t ship to *all* of Canada. And they need to get off the UPS band wagon. $20??? to ship .. right .. That must have been a US corporate decission where UPS is $7 .

Why not just find a detail supplier in the US .. most are Canuck friendly and will USPS a can up to you for $6 US mailing.

Any suggestions which detail supplier I should order from? I would like some #16 but right now might just settle for S100 (found it locally for $22.95).

If I remember from another thread, the "Detailer" line won`t be available in Canada, as they aren`t bi-lingual, and it doesn`t look like it`s financially viable to do so.

Isn`t their head office in T.O. ? Can you just ask to pick it up there and save the shipping ? Or is this a case of them sending it from Cali ?

Actually their head office is in Mississauga, Ontario. If they are shipping from there, those shipping charges seem kinda outrageous!
