Hey guys i have two questions for you all:

1. Have one friend that has an old `64 mustang that he wants done. I know that this is single stage cause he has not had it repainted so im thinking this

-DACP with a polish/cutting

-#7 but should i just apply it or should i work it in???

-hand polish and then

-NXT

I dont know what color it is unfortunatly.

The second one i have is whether or not an `86 mustang would have single stage or not?? How can i find out, besides putting the polisher on there and seeing if it somes off with stuff on my pad?

Thanks guys,

Keith

Call or go to an automotive paint supplier and give them the color code for the `86 Stang. They will be avle to tell you if it was a single stage paint or a base/clear coat finish.

Depending on the condition, DACP might not be enough, so if thats the most aggressive thing you have, might need to go over it multiple times. I would definitely follow up with a lighter polish for the final shine.

I`d skip #7, not going to do much once you remove it with hand polish or put NXT over it.
