I have a 2 year old blue car with some very light surface scuffs and swirls. I can`t really take a pic cuz they wouldn`t show up. Would FP (with PC) take these out okay? I don`t want to use IP because the paint on my car is very soft.

Thanks

The only well to tell if FP will work is to use FP. I wouold recommend using a mild pad such as a white polishing pad or finishing pad, if little cut is needed.

What kind of car are you working on?

It`s a Vibrant Blue Nissan SE-R Spec V. The paint is notoriously bad on these cars...if I look at it wrong it will scuff.

My FP is arriving sometime this week so I guess I will try it out and see what happens.

OK, it`s good to err on the side of caution. Maybe the FP will be just what you need.

I did my sisters 03 Mirano over the last 2 days and the paint even stood up to DACP and a yellow pad on some scuffs without a problem . IP was used in a few lesser spots without a problem. I did notice the Nissan paint was a lots softer than my VW.
