I am ordering a PC 7424 as soon as I get an answer on which pads to order with it.

Two of my vehicles paint are in "good condition" with your average swirls.

The hood of my truck seems to have what looks like to be "pitting" and swirls as well.

I have an 2003 Mustang with just very minimal swirls here and there.

Can these pads be washed over and over to get multiple uses? and what is the difference between the 7424 and the 7336(I think thats the #)

Any advice would be great and please add any accessories I may need for the PC as well. I would like to go straight to work on the cars when it arrives. Thanks in advance.

PC must have changed the specs for the 7336SP. I just picked up one at Lowes ($109 less 10% coupon) and it did not include a plastic case. Still a very good deal for $98.10 + tax.

Now to decide what pads/bonnets to get

Get at least 1 yellow and 2 white Lake City style pads. You will also need the Velcro backing plate. Scrap the bonnet idea .. if you use the stock pad that comes with it on top of a MF towel it buffs really well.
