Its a acid base wheel cleaner that will put the bling back into your chrome rims again. I have try it on chrome bumpers, trims and even remove water spots on glass with it. I have not had any problams using it on painted rims. I just spray some on the rim, agitate it with a brush and rinse, then move to the next rim. For chrome bumpers I spray some on a micro-fiber towel wipe it on the bumper then rinse.
