A QD question

Are there any other QD`s you can use to apply on top of a Klasse SG covered finish ?

You might try the Sonus High Gloss QD. It uses the same acrylic as the Klasse system.

yah.. but unfortunately I won`t have it by the time my 2 layers of SG are on.. I ask because i`m kinda in a bind as my Klasse Twins is being shipped next week from within canada and if I order from properautocare, their lead times to my address are 3-4 weeks.. .. <sigh> hence my question about a substitute ?



I`ll just use some z6 and see what happens ? then if that does not work, i`ll use some s100 QD and see what happens..

The Sonus acrylic spritz is the complement to the Klasse AIO/SG products.



Another option is to use a QD that does not contain carnuba. The idea is that the carnuba would interfere with bonding of additional layers of SG.



My two favorite QDs when working with a Klasse finish are the Sonus Acrylic Spritz and Meguiars Final Inspection. The FI is just a QD and does not replenish the acrylic layer.

Why are you in a bind .. a QD as far as I know is not a necessity with SG. Your SG isn`t going to leap off the fender if it doesn`t get a QD.

in between washes, I normally use a QD

The only time I will is *right* after a wash .. otherwise the slightest but of dust swirls it.. your lucky your not dealing with black .. I wonder how many light cars are hazed all to heck from QDing between washes and they just don`t know it.

on yellow I can get away with it.. of course Cali Dusting first then a spray of QD..

I have both z6 and Meg`s FI. I did a beige benz last summer (AIOx1, SGx1) and used Meg`s FI. Had good results.

P21S (S100) will work as a wax topper on Klasse, wax dosn`t last that long anyway, but it does give a depth of shine. I`ve never used Z6 without te `rest of the gang` but I`m sure it will work as well as any other QD
