I`m about to kill someone.

My SS 10-spoke wheels have centercaps with red bowtie decals, and one was faded bad, so I managed to completely take out the color with bug & tar remover, and now it appears as nothing is there, but you can sorta see the outline of the decal if you look at it in the light, but whatever no big deal. Now for the rest of them....I can`t get these decals off for ****. I`ve tried everything from a hair dryer, razor blade, metal polish, fiberglass rubbing compound, to gojo. WTF? How am I gonna get these off?

I guess you want all 4 to match or something.

All 4 w/ decals:I would guess the best thing to do would be to get a replacement set off ebay cheap.

All 4 blank: Paint over them with paint of matching color.

It`s going to be too hard to get it perfectly over the bowtie, and I have no experience or equipment for painting. I need to know how to get this crap off.

A third option would be too wetsand w/ 2500 grit paper till the decal is sanded off. Polish out the sanding marks with a compound

Ok fixed.

Rubbing compound + water buffed it out, and then I polished it up w/1Z.
