I know it`s not wise to mix products on your pads, but can you use the same pad(after cleaning of course), with different brands of the same type? i.e. all polishes, all swirl removers, all sealants, etc.

Also, does the pad have to be completely dry before using again?

Can you use a hair dryer to speed up drying time?

How safe or smart is it to continue using a pad on your car after noticing that it has gotten dirty from doing the first couple panels?

I notice folks saying to clean your pads with Dawn. Is it alright to use any other detergent?

One more. Can I use the same pad, without washing it, to do two cars with the application? You know, swirl remover, polishes, sealants etc.?

Thanks everybody.

You can use the same clean pad with different products. As far as the pad being clean it depends on the product you are using. Instead of a hair dryer just spin dry the pad on your PC.

When your pad gets dirty or caked you need to change pad. You can use a mild detergent other than dawn to clean your pads. And finally, I have used the same pad and product on two different cars. Hope this helps.
