I`m thinking of buying one in the near future and I`m just wondering about the major differences between these two:confused:

I see a lot of talk about the electric models but no mention about the air operated ones.

Can you guys give me some suggestions , tell me of your favorites and the reasons why you feel that they are better.

Please name the brands you like most, so that I can search for it on the net:xyxthumbs :wavey

Quick note:

With an electric buffer, you can pretty much buff cars out where ever there is electricity.

With an air-powered buffer, you must be located to a large, noisy air-compressor capable of feeding your tool uninerupted.

If I were you, I would stick with a Makita Rotary Buffer.
