I`m looking to try something new on the racecar this spring.

I`m set with the rest of my combo, which looks like:

AIOx2

followed by one of the following (2 coats of each):

S100

SG

NXT

#26

depending on my mood.

What I need is a SMR

I`ve tried FI-fine cut, DACP, SEC, and 3M SMR for dark cars.

Anything else worth a try out there?

If not, i`m considering trying FI-fine cut with a white pad instead of yellow. Thougts on that?

There`s lots to try out there, prolly more polishes on the market than waxes/sealants. Menzerna and Einzsett make good products that are worth a try.

1Z polishes (my favorite) and Poorboys SSR1,2 & 3.

Which 1Z would best replace the products i`ve been using?

I`ll also check out Poorboy`s.

I`ve been considering the Menzerna twins, but i`m not sure if I want to add another step to my process, unless the results will be that dramatically different...

The 1Z Paint Polish (green can) is for swirl removal. The Metalic (red) is for very mild blemishes, and also contains some wax, although it has been noted by more than one poster that one may wish to top it. The yellow is for "rough" paint.

Poorboys are my favorite. They work well and are easier to work with.

3m perfect-it III is my favorite right now. It works very well and leaves the finish squeeky clean and very clear. It`s a little pricey though at $30 for a bottle but it will last a lifetime. I have like 6 bottles!
