A friend used it to remove Hoosier drag slick rubber that had been on his paint for several weeks. He said it came right off with minimal effort, but he is not sure about any damage that might have been done to his paint. Yeah, right, slick rubber on paint for weeks and he`s worried about paint damage?????? :nixweiss

Reminds me of this stuff: http://www.spartanchemical.com/web/products.nsf/web/42C1122D0DEA2946852567DA0071163E?OpenDocument

SD20 is used by a lot of NASCAR teams to clean cars after races. It`ll remove rubber, grease, oil, all kinds of stuff and leave a residue free surface.

I use that stuff to shampoo the carpets in my house and clean other things. I don`t see how it could hurt paint.

We have SD-20 at work and it works great fo just about anything! If you can find it its nice to have around home for things here and there.

My brother didn`t throw a...uh...rubber `substance` far enough out of his car one night after parking. He might have been able to get it off the side of his car before our Mom saw it if that stuff was available 20 years ago. :lol
