What do you use to clean your tires, to strip the gunk and old tire shine and apply new? I`ve used A2Z before and it worked alright, and also used Scrubbin Bubble`s bathroom cleaner on a former customers vehicle... (He wanted it used...) which oddly enough it worked pretty well, but I`d rather have something specific that wont hurt anything..

thanks

I use Eagle One Tire Cleaner and it works great. I am not sure if its readily available as it used to be. I stocked up on like 15 bottles when Sears was discounting carrying it.

E1 Tire Cleaner has been phased out of their product line, replaced by A2Z or All Wheel and Tire Cleaner (whatever they`re calling it now). You can find this product almost everywhere.

I use Mothers Rubber and tire cleaner (around $6.00). You can get it at most pep boys, advanced autoparts, ect. I really like it. It really cleans well. I use a small scrub brush to really work it in.

Once the tire dries it is ready for tire dressing or protectant.

try not to notice the booboo on my fornt bumper. I am going to get it fixed soon. I have other pics but not in my album yet. These are pics i took 2 weeks ago after a quick 2 hour detail at work, and then the next day in the sunshine. the other pics i would need to scan onto the hard drive and then transfer them to the album. but these will get you the point

thanks for the interest :xyxthumbs

After using A2Z for a while, I`ve stitched to using Orage Blast, the Wal-Mart APC. I read that it had a pH of around 3, and I personally have nothing against acidic cleaners. Worked great, and I don`t fear it touching my skin like I do the A2Z.

Nothing like having your skin itch like crazy three minutes after you use the A2Z because you got it on you.
