Guys,

My daughter left her crayons in the pocket of her carseat. They melted and got on the back seat of my wife`s Outback. It has a cloth interior. Any ideas how to get the melted wax out of the fibers of the seat? I already scrapped off the surface wax.

Thanks,

John

Is the dye still there or is it an oily stain now? Lestoil (can be bought at your grocery store) works great for oily stains. :xyxthumbs

can you possibly get an Iron and some paper towles on the mess? I use this for carpets and what not. I dont see why cloth seating would be any different. Just place the papertowel (or any towel you dont want) and start ironing away. the wax should lift off onto the towel and out of the fabric. I hope that the dye in the crayon doesnt stain the seats though.
