Once the first coat of WG sealant is applied, dried and buffed off, is there a cure time required before applying a second coat...like 12 hours or so?

Thanks for any info.

Yeah, I emailed WG and they gave the standard sealant answer.

24 hours before layering and 24 hours before topping.

I would imagine you may not receive the full benefit of your initial application.....Ive often experimented with applying one layer, letting it dry for an hr or more, than applying another coat before removing the 1st layer. Im not sure of my results though ! But i did like what i felt ! Ive done this with BF and Plat......

It might come off or it might mix it (haze). Hard to tell what would happen if you mixing.

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

All applied automotive products have a ‘cure’ time, for Wolfgang-

·After sufficient drying time do a quick swipe test with your finger. If no smearing or drag is evident, the residue is ready to be removed.

·Residues should be dry when you buff them. If the residues are still wet, you are using too much product, allow the paint sealant to completely dry.

·The longer the product remains (45-60 minuets) on the vehicle surface the easier it is to buff off, this also ensure its durability

~Hope this helps~
