What is a good buffer to buy?

Also what kind of accessories do you guys recommend, i.e. pads?

Do you guys have any favorite products too? I hear Klasse is pretty damn good; I am new so any help is appreciated.

If you are looking for a Orbital there is only one to go with the Porter Cable 7424 (aka PC). You are not going to find anyone on here that wishes they didn`t by a PC. The results you can get are far better than by hand and best of all anyone can use a PC. Easy to use won`t damage your paint yet they are powerful.

Porter Cable 7424 from Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004SUQ8/qid=1081306261/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/104-9116399-9879951?v=glance&s=hi&n=507846)

You will also need to get a hook and loop backing plate and some polishing/finishing pads to go with it.

This is what I have and I have been very happy with them: Meguiars 6.5" PC Pads (http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguiars/product_detail.cfm?sku=WDA)you will also need a backing plate from Meguiars.

Try searching for on autopia for "Porter Cable 7424" or "PC 7424" something along there and you will find more information than you will know what to do with!

Thanks so much for the info, I had heard a "PC" mentioned but I wasn’t sure what it was. Thanks!

Why the Cyclo polisher?

Because it have 2 polisher forms instead of 1?

-Porter Cable 7336sp - $109.00 at Lowes (7336sp is the correct one to get because it has the correct counterweight)

-Backplate - $11.96 at TOTL website

-Yellow Pad - $9.95 at TOTL website

-White Pad - $9.95 at TOTL website

Get 2 pads of whatever you order, you WILL need 2 or more when they LOAD up and you DON`T to stop.

I have a DeWalt random orbital sander/polisher which does the job extremely well. Its very powerful and easy to use.
