After putting two coats of RaggTopp`s fabric protectant on my 350z`s top, I noticed that it is very splotchy. Is there anyway to remove these?

Clean the roof down with the Raggtopp Cleaner. Then re-protect with an even coat.

This is very important. Coats must be applied evenly and thin. I usually do 3 light coats with one hour drying in between each coat. Shake can often and keep spray nozzle clear of build-up. :xyxthumbs

Do you keep the can close to the roof to avoid overspray? Is the overspray dangerous to glass, paint, trim?

I keep the can about 8 - 12" from the surface. No, the overspray is not harmful to the paint and wipes off quite easily if removed immediately after finishing spraying the top. I always cover the painted surfaces and glass with 100% cotton sheets to minimize over-spray of painted area.
