saw them at a local Brookstone store,

i figured i`d ask the experts around here...

I have the buffer (or one very similar to it). Paid the same price, but in Canadian funds (and got 2 batteries). Meguiar`s sells one like it too, with a spiffy Meg`s bag. Definitely won`t get out scratches and stuff. It`s more like the 6" orbitals you can get at the Marts. For just applying something like gepc or a liquid 1-step, this may be worth your while, if you don`t have access to a plug in.



I`ve seen the detail kit too (when I was in the states one time). Not looking like very high quality stuff; over priced. I seem to recall Sears, Marshall Fields, Kohl`s or one of those type of department stores were selling similar kits for around $30.00 last year. If you want a kit and aren`t too concerned about the quality, just the look, maybe this would be worth buying. I didn`t think so.

Just my thoughts, though. I may have a skewed ideal of quality, though.
