Hi guys,

Ive done some searching, but i wasnt really able to find anything pertaining to what im looking for.

How do you guys clean your expensive aftermarket wheels with a polished lip?

Do you just clean it like any other wheel, with car wash soap?

Do you need to polish it with somethin from time to time? or is washing it often enough?

btw, if i need to polish it with a substance, what do you use?

Sorry for the dumb question. I just wanna make sure what i am doing so i dont ruin my 3000$ wheels.

Thanks for help.

Are they chrome, chrome clear coated, aluminum or painted clear coat ?

Most wheels can be cleaned with soap and water (car wash soap) and a soft flagged wheel brush or a MF towel. Rinse well and dry well.

Also most wheels can be protected using a cleaner/wax or something like Vanilla Moose.

Non-cleared aluminum wheels and non-coated chrome wheels are about the only wheel types that may need a different polishing approach.

the wheel has a polished aluminum lip, the center of the wheel is painted with clear coat over it.
