I`m looking for a good interior vinyl/plasic cleaner/protectant, but prefer one that isn`t overly wet and glossy looking. I`m hearing good things about both Lexol Vinylex and Meguiar`s #40. Also wondering how well the new NXT stuff works.

Thanks,

Mitch

If you want UV protection, then I would recommend 303 -- since it`s water-based, it can be diluted, but it`s cleaner-free. #40 has cleaners, and it too, can be diluted to reduce shine. Vinylex is a bit slippery, and NXT protectant is way too shiny for me.

Vinylex is a great "dressing". This stuff leaves a very nice lo-gloss finish.

1Z Cockpit Premium is an excellent cleaner for the interior. I haven`t found another product quite like it. The 1Z leaves a matte appearance.

I just ordered some Cockpit premium for no gloss applications and some 303 for areas I want to be satin. Have not had a chance to use either yet.

The NXT will be extremely shiny

I agree with everyoune else, the NXT is pretty shiny. I use it on tires and find it gets matte pretty fast, but I`d never use it on anything else.
