I am about to order some MF towels. But after doing alot of searching I have now really confussed myself about what I want. I thought I wanted the plushes softest I could find. But now I am seeing where people want plushest most pile for polishes and QD`s and smooth softies for wax sealents and final qd`ing.

OK now that I am very confused could someone help clear this up and what brand, size, towels you would reccomend to keep up with a full size truck?

I was thinking nothing smaller than 20x30?

Plush soft ones for polish

Plush soft ones for wax removal (at least 5 for both)

Less plush ones for final buffing and qd work (grab a few)

Waffle weave for drying, get 2

Here is what I have seems to be just right for me and my Ford Lightning....

10 - 16" x 16" Ultra - Micro Fiber Towel (Cleaner/Polish/Wax removal)

1 - 16" x 24" Ultra-Fine - Micro Fiber Towel (Final Wipe Down really could use another towel)

These are from www.pakshak.com

Seem to be high quality towels and they are very soft overall they are a good towel.

1 - Ulitimate Drying towel (for Drying really could use another towel)

from www.autopia-carcare.com

This is an awsome drying towel!

TQB - There`s quite a few chouces out there. Check Autopia, CMA and PakShak (among others) for some of the different towels and their uses. Between reading the descriptions on those 3 sites, you should be well informed of what towel for what purpose.

Size is a personal choice. I prefer about a 16 x 16 size for my towels, except for the waffle weaves which are larger for 2-handed use.

There are occassions where you`d want a towel with a denser/coarser weave for the likes of removing clay residue, etc. A CBT or Ultra-fine for QD`ing and final wipe-downs. Then there`s the more "standard" weave for multi-purpose jobs, including washing, polish/wax removel and such.

It is confusing at first, but use the search function liberally and if you don`t find the answer, post away!
