I came to this site a couple weeks ago with no idea how to take care of my new car. Several of you offered advice, and here`s the results, after clay, AIO, and two coats of SG. I`ll put a third on next weekend.

I`m soooooo happy!

You folks are the best! :bow

Thanks again,

Alex

Looks awesome! If you get bored with the SG, try topping it with P21S/S100............... that color is just begging for P21S.

Of course, once you start topping with carnauba, you won`t be able to go back to SG without stripping.

P.S............. Great car!

I got lots of help from this site. The first coat of SG was a real pain, I thought I had removed it all, but continued to find it days later. (Note to self: gas station flourescents at night are amazing for finding flaws in my work.) Anyway, went back and searched the site and found the wet MF/dry MR SG removal technique. Worked exactly as advertised!

Yeah, not sure what I`m going to do after the SG. I had originally planned on P21S, but some others recommended stopping after the SG.

The car is generally only driven weekends and stays under cover in a garage, so protection isn`t as important to me as the look.

I guess I`ll make a decision in a couple weeks!

Uhhhh, you should have seen the looks I got when people assumed I was "waxing" the new car two weekends in a row. Wonder what they think when I`m back out there putting on the third coat of SG next weekend....

Such a beautiful car. Im 19 and just dream of an M3, Im truly a BMW enthusiast at heart. I had a 1989 BMW 325i and it was an awesome car. Your car looks great and when I get another BMW I hope to keep it just as clean.

Your too lucky to have a car like that!
