What carnauba wax leaves the slickest finish?

I have used P21S and was considering liquid Souveran or S100.

Comments on these and any others would be appreciated.

I`m looking for products under $30.

P21s = S100

I`ve never used Souveran, but I know it looks great on black. I`m thinking on trying it myself. I`ve used P21s and I love it, don`t know if Souveran is enough to tear me away from P21s. :o

I know the liquid Souveran is less expensive than the paste, but I`m not sure how good it is? Seems as though the top end carnaubas are in paste form.

I`ve used the Liquid Souveran before and I can say that it is amazingly slick. But, I had used P21S GEPC before the LS and the results were amazing. The paint was very slick.

I`ve also have the P21S wax but not together with the GEPC. I guess the LS is slightly more slick than the P21S (but realize that the prep was different for each of them). I`d say that if you already have P21S, get yourself some of the GEPC and try that.

Souveran PASTE is *NOT* a very slick wax. I like it and all, but it sometimes gets a downright soft, or "tacky" feel after a little while. Never tried the liquid Souveran, so dunno about that.

*I* find that 3M`s Showcar Paste Wax leaves a very slick finish. It doesn`t STAY all that slick for a LONG time, but it`s sure not bad for a carnauba. Almost an "oily" feel (I mean that in a good way). Others that seem slick (to me) are the "heavy" waxes, like Meg`s #16 and Collinite. These three are all the sort of waxes that "dirt doesn`t stick to"; they "self-clean" in the rain.

When I used P21S (over VM, which leaves a quite slick finish too), I didn`t notice it being *especially* slick. But then, I wasn`t looking for that, so I might not have noticed (but then that tells you something too). Note that virtually ANY good wax will feel pretty slick right after you apply it.

I`d say Meg 26... especially if you wipe Meg 26 with FI or FD, dang, it`s slick... hehe slicker than SG, Z or NXT IMO

P21S with GEPC used first makes the paint very slick

I`d prolly say Megs #26 too. Slickness in a wax comes from the types of oils in it. In #26 its prolly the polysiloxane.

S100 or #16 for paste waxes, Carnauba Moose for liquids.

I hope that would be #26 liquid. My #26 paste isn`t very slick at all...

S100 is very slick...some gurl friend of mine was leaning against my fender right after i had appiled s100 all over the car, she literally slid off the side!

i was alittle upset because i was hoping she didn`t leave any scratches....

she was like " damn how mcuh wax did you put on?"

its been 2 weeks since i applied the s100 and its still slick!

even after a wash i can run my hand across the finish with ease
