Finally, most snow is gone and streets are dry. Spent a good chunk of the day with Vanilla Moose glaze and Pinnacle Souveran wax. Wow, only 2 more CRVs, a black Prelude and a Vette to go and I`ll be ready to face the detailing season!

The wheels are painted with PPG Omni base/clear. I`ve also done another set of steel wheels in gunmetal gray. I took extra time and effort in the prep jobs and both sets of wheels have held up fine over a summer and very tough winter with many washes, including commerical DIY washes. I`m confident that I can get 2 -3 years use before having to repaint. I painted the black wheels to match the Grand Sport wheels on my `92 Corvette. I get constant comments about them, including every time I go to a Honda dealer ( I have 4 Hondas), there`s always someone at a dealership that remarks that " I didn`t know you could get those that way".

Pull the Vette out and lets see that too!!!! Nice job on the Honda. VM is an excellent polish. Did you use it on the windows? If not try it next time. What a difference. Good work.

Well, that lasted a long time. This shot was at 6:30 this morning (Monday), less than 12 hours and 0 miles after the big SPRING detailing, LOL:

To answer a question, no I didn`t dismount the tires to do the wheels, just very carefully masked around the rim with 3M 1" masking tape and newspaper.

Great job masking, and LOL....I detailed my car on SUnday, and on the way to work on Monday the snow was melting and mixing with the sand....no one even noticed the many hours I had spent detailing my ride, since it was dirtyer thanwhen I left work on Friday... :nixweiss ...oh well..
