Anybody use this product to clean your pads?

Interesting.
I`ve been told (by an industry chemist) not to wash pads at all, because it removes the lanolin from the wool fibers.
So, I just spur them well and often. Let it dry, and spur before reusing...

Because I don`t know much about the composition of the pads, when you say wool fibers, does this mean wool pads or foam pads as well?
