Hello everyone, I need some help....

The main water pipe in my garage leaked some rusty water on to the hood of my car. I CANNOT get it off. Can anyone offer up some advice or help on how to remove this stain?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Sorry, I have no real advice. But if you could tell us what all you have tried, then someone can recommend steps you may not have taken already.

I`m not really an expert on car detailing, so I`ve just tried general car washes and some scrubbing to no avail.

i`d try some clay first.

I used Meguiars DACP #83 to remove rust water stains from a Mercedes S600. A customer`s wife had washed the car and their water deionizer somehow malfunctioned and she let rusty well water dry on her paint. Followed with Clearkote`s Vanilla Moose and waxed with...I don`t remember actually. :nixweiss

I put in a good 3.5 hours on just the buffing and polishing to get all the rust stains off. They were even dried on all the glass and the wheels.

My car has a few small rust "bubbles" (and a few not so small ones :( ) and I`ve been able to remove the rust colored stain from around the smaller ones using Klasse`s AIO.

Good Stuff and good luck. . .
