Hey, I was looking for a sunshade for my 4Runner and GF`s Legacy and ran across this, clicky (http://www.autosunshields.com/manu/toyota/toyota_4runner.html) that looked like a nice product. Both of our cars are parked outside all day and although tinted, they get hot. Would the side shade be degrading towards tinted front windows? It seems that the foil(ish) material would scratch the tint over time. Whatdoyathink?

The option I will most likely go with will be the shade covercraft makes, here (http://216.60.144.111/ecatcust/review.asp?vid=581090731&x=1) beacuse the thickness looks as though it might keep more heat out. Curious about those side shields though.

Thanks

I don`t think it will hurt you much. My car was in AZ and parked outside for half it`s life and the limo tint that was dealer installed lasted me about 12 years before it started to bubble. I don`t think the reflection will hurt much since your tint is already filtering out most of the light.

Anyway, what would you rather replace, some plastic film or your leather seats?

Thanks for starting this thread - I too am looking for a set of sun shields, but for a 2003 GMC Envoy. I can find custom windshield sun shields, easily. But I cannot find any shades for the side windows. I`m looking for coverage of the front windshield, driver`s window, and passenger`s window.

Anyone know any sources? The source provided in the first post here, does not have anything for my vehicle.

Thanks
