Try the above pages for the basics. Depending on where you purchase your PC, it may or may not include the velcro backing plate. Be certain to ask this question when ordering.

You can also find similar products at www.griotsgarage.com, and several other places on the web.

You will definitely want at least two pads for polishing, and two pads for application of waxes/sealants.

Enjoy your new toy . . . there`s nothing like the look of a freshly PC`d car!

If you are just starting out, you may want to stick to the 6" - 6.5" sized pads. Nick at Detailer`s Paradise (http://www.detailersparadise.com/_System/_AdvancedStore/ProductList.asp?DeptID=681420031122411%2D122521261 407&CatID=681420031123501%2D1225212614052) has the 6.5" pads on still on sale this month. I think if you order the PC polisher from him he ships your entire order for free. Check out this link for the accessories he has, should be all you need to get started. Give him a call, he is a really great guy and is very helpful at getting what you need.

You`ll love the PC. I got mine last year and I`ve worked on several family members cars, it really helps you do a consistent job and you don`t get so fatigued.

Good luck :)

....as Noob as I am in the matter I`ve been a neat freak for years and do maintain my cars both mechanically and impeccable appearance having some of the people I work ask me to do their cars for a good amount of money.

I have never considered this to be a job but I guess hobby and if someone wants to throw a C note my way, well it pays for my supplies.

I`ve used numerous combinations but never knew what a PC was just my faithfull buffer and now I`m glad I visited this place for information.

Thanks guys and ladies for sharing your knowlegde with me...
