I wonder if anyone has run into this problem before. I assume it may similar to the screen on a laptop computer (I know IBM recommends 1:1 mixture of isopropyl alcohol to water for ThinkPad users).

Any pro detailers out there run into this issue as sat nav has taken off?

Thanks for any advice.

Here`s a related thread...

Read through it, I believe this issue is discussed there. Good Luck!

Thanks Jared. Very helpful. Maybe a trip to Compusa is in order...

I know they make some wipes for the LCD screen for laptops. Maybe you can find something there to help you clean it. I imagine that I would just clean it as I would a laptop screen. Let us know how it turns out.

A tip , make sure you read the package labels real good. Some of those products are recommended for some things. I made the mistake of buying some antistatic wipes at Staples and didn`t read the tiny type saying not for use on LCD or notebook screens.
