As stated, what is the best way to wash Lake Country PC pads? What do you use...detergent? Do you let them soak or just hand wash and air dry? TIA

I wash them in a sink by hand and use alot of soap. I also let them air dry.

I lost my first batch of Porter Cable pads because I used the washer/dryer. What a waste.

I use Dawn and a fingernail brush under hot water. Then usually let air dry, but sometimes I smoosh them to get most of the water out and then put them on the PC on 6 to dry them out.

I soak mine in Dawn and then rinse them out thoroughly.

If really nasty, I throw mine in the wash on GENTLE cycle, warm water, with a LITTLE liquid laundry detergent and a capful of straight Simple Green. Works extremely well with no damage to the pads. I usually throw in any used foam applicators with them. When done, I remove the LC pads immediately, and hang to dry (I use a 1/2" diameter copper pipe, with string run through it, through the holes in the pads. Then the string is tied together and placed over a coat hanger. This allows the pads to dry really quick and maintain their shape.)
