now I know Ill need a bunch of pads. where should i get them? i only plan on using DACP and SFP. Lake County pads I heard were good? I plan on doing other peoples cars too (3 a week probably) so whats a good amount to get?





how do you clean these pads?



another quick question, how would you clean foam applicator pads? for something like clearkotes CM? water?



mine are crusty now and kind of black from touching rubber trim.

Tape up molding and trims.



I use Meg green tape. But blue painters works also



3 of each either Lake / Meg



I use murphys oil soap I think I got the idea from here 1cap to 2gal of warm water soak for 30 minutes [DON`T MIX PADS] rinse, spin dry with pc and lay flat to dry

which pads are good to have? colors etc?



i thought you only tape things up with a rotary?

I use only Meguiars I have



6 W7006

8 W8006[2 for bonnets]

10 W9006



NO any time you compound, polish or wax you tape up VERY GOOD PRACTICE

hmm 11 bucks a pad, i didnt expect them to be that expensive, do i have any other options?

whats spinning dry with pc? im talking about the little hand applicator pads?

www.topoftheline.com they are like $9/pad for the 7.5" LC pads

I would get two of each type, yellow,white,black, orange, and possibly a wool one too.
