For me anyway. The other day I was in big lots and saw this cooler, it is designed to hold two different beverages, or beverages and ice. A light bulb went off in my head. It hold 6 quarts, they are marked along the side. It is portable, insulated(I like to use warm water in the winter), and well designed.

This bucket (at least that `s what it is now), helps me when I use QEW becasue with other buckets I found myself using too much QEW. For me a normal bucket is too shallow so I have to use more solution, with this one I use exactly a gallon. Hope this helps it was at Big Lots for about $8.

BTW, to hi jack my own thread here, anyone ever used patagonia sheepskin mitts(big lots $3.99)?

Awesome!!

I have no idea what "Big Lots" is though. Can you give me a model # or exact name of it. I definately wanna give it a try.

When I get one, I`ll make the mixture at my house (if doing a customer wash) and let the mitts soak in the solution.

Thats cool. The warm water is a good idea. Although... the "cold" that I experience is only around 50deg F or above

"Big Lots" is a closeout/discount store.

Big lots is like a close out store.

Sorry, I tore the labels off and threw them away.

The remaining labels on the bucket read "two cool igloo" and"beverage cooler 3 gallon two cool."

I think they have them at wal-mart and target, but they will be a little more expensive. Hope this helps.

nice find, i think i might try it for regular washing, instead of carrying around two buckets.

I have seen a lot of references to QEW here. I am ignorant to QEW. Could someone take a second and explain to me what is so good about it and why everyone seems to be using it? (Or for that matter, would need a special bucket for it.)

Basically it is wash that needs no rinsing that many people around here use in the winter. I have actually been considering using it as my full time wash.

If you do a search for "QEW" you will find a wealth of information.

I have a Big Lots on my way home. I`ll stop by and check them out. I might even grab one or two of the lambs wool mitts they have for $3.99.

I`ve noticed that the grime in my rinse bucket from QEW usually settles along the bottom...so for your rinse bucket half, does the spout work well at just letting the grime out? If it does, I would definitely be interested in one of those.

^ It sure does, I forgot to mention that in the original post.
